To promote healthier communities through the farming of insects for human and animal consumption.

Create climate smart solutions to nutrient and assisting the community to produce better in with the locally available resources
Crickets are a part of our food culture. My family and others in the community would forage crickets during the lean season. By farming them, we can make them available throughout the year. They have 2.5 times more protein than chicken and a third of the cost of chicken.
Finally they are so easy to farm that even those with disabilities or children can be involved.
They need half the feed, 10 times less water than chickens, and you can raise a lot on very little land.
We know that more than 50% of the rural population in Zimbabwe is affected by food insecurity. There is a serious lack of balanced diet where up to 75% cannot consume protein regularly. We also know that there is a rapid increase in child malnutrition and stunted growth as well as wasting.
